By adopting the ICC Building Valuation Data and flat fees for stand-alone permits, the City is ensuring greater accuracy, fairness, and transparency in how fees are assessed. This approach mirrors the structure already used by most communities across the United States.

- Fees for most building permits will be automatically calculated using ICC standards and the City’s multiplier.
- Certain stand-alone permits (like fences, pools, decks, or demolitions) will follow a flat-fee schedule, rather than square-foot calculations
