[ARCHIVED] BRANSON POLICE ALERT OF QUICK CHANGE ARTIST IN THE AREA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wednesday, February 22, 2017

BRANSON POLICE DEPT

On February 18th multiple businesses reported falling victim to a quick change artist. The below pictured heavy-set Hispanic

male with a mustache/goatee asked for change for several $100 dollar bills. He would request the change in specific

denominations. The suspect claimed to not speak English well, and used this to add to the confusion.

The suspect has not been identified. He was seen operating a 1999-2004 Honda Odyssey possibly silver in color. If you

have a customer that requests to change a bill more than once please treat this request as questionable. Slow down and

analyze each action you take as you could be taken advantage of.

Anyone with information leading to the identity of the suspect is asked to call police.
