Founded in 2009, the Kathleen Barsotti Non-Profit for Sustainable Agriculture is founded in memory of Kathleen Barsotti. The School of Food and Agriculture, with about 35 faculty members, over 475 undergraduate students, and 50 graduate students, is a dynamic learning community and a state-wide resource. By offering this new Associate degree program in Sustainable Agriculture we hope to provide a seamless post-secondary career pathway in agricultural science that will prepare students to pursue local workforce opportunities, grow or establish new agriculture enterprises in the region, and/or obtain the knowledge base to pursue a bachelor's degree or higher in the agricultural field.
